Este organismo estima que, casi con seguridad, habr\u00e1 r\u00e9plicas que pueden superar la magnitud 6 con casi un 30% de probabilidad. El sistema autom\u00e1tico de estimaci\u00f3n de riesgos del servicio geol\u00f3gico alerta de posibles desprendimientos y licuefacci\u00f3n, un fen\u00f3meno que puede provocar que los edificios se hundan en el terreno, como ha sucedido en terremotos en Jap\u00f3n.
