Por esa misma raz\u00f3n en \u00e9poca medieval se levant\u00f3 una Ermita al Santo Patr\u00f3n de Espa\u00f1a pero en el S.XVI se quiso mejorar la obra realizando una Iglesia de gran embergadura.
