A ra\u00edz de la aparici\u00f3n el pastor llamado Pedro Bot\u00eda decidi\u00f3 ingresar en la orden franciscana.<br \/>Dios Ni\u00f1o volvi\u00f3 a aparec\u00e9rsele a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s en un viaje a los Santos Lugares. Le indic\u00f3 que volviese a Espa\u00f1a. En el periplo conoci\u00f3 al Conde de Lemos que le introdujo en la Corte madrile\u00f1a as\u00ed lleg\u00f3 a ser consejero del hermano de Carlos II.
