Tras su muerte se suceden los reconocimientos p\u00fablicos a su val\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>En 1926 se inaugur\u00f3 su monumento en la plaza de la Merced otro monumento a su memoria fue inaugurado en el acuartelamiento de Tentegorra en 1990.
